The CoPacer Distance Plan is an up to four year, 52 weeks per year training plan designed to prepare high school runners to meet the typical profile of recruited long distance runners at 1000+ colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada.

The plan provides weekly workout, pace and mileage guidance through the Cross Country and Track seasons and off-seasons. Workouts are calibrated to each season's phases (from base training to championships), and paces and mileage are determined relative to the runner's current PR's and the program strength of their target college.

Plans can be used by themselves or to support a school program by changing the phase dates to align with the official season schedule.

Why I Created CoPacer

Just as I started getting serious about running, Covid closed my school and the track program with it, forcing me to train for my first high school season largely on my own. Running science soon became a passion, and in the years since, I’ve not only had the chance to put what I’ve learned to test, I’ve also gained perspective on how to better support athletes looking to pursue their dreams of running in college.

This app is the product of that work. I’m excited for you to take a look.
